​The body speaks. It is sending us messages all the time: through sensations, or lack of them. Through ache, longing, pain and numbness. It sends messages through our emotions, thoughts, our imagination, and of course, our dreams. It is sending us messages when we dissociate, when we are depressed, or in anxiety. It is sending us messages through our laughter, delight, turn-on, and excitement.
