Dear worms, dirt, microbes and fungi, creeping and crawling things:
Please break me down, please eat away the rotted parts.
Turn these wounds,
both old scars and new and seeping,
​to compost.
Please come in. I invite you, bacteria and fungi, to do your work.
Break me down,
and in that process: create soil, fertile and dense with the nutrients of my experience.

This compost can’t help but turn into fertile soil. It’s the process of life of begetting more life.
Let me plant seeds.
May I be watered and properly sunned. That I may sprout.
May I grow roots in your dark body.
Let me flower in the spring, fruit in the summer, change in the fall and rest in the winter.
Let me be in your cycles, dear soil, dear seasons, dear roots, flowers, and branches.

The Body is the Oracle
Join fellow intuitive, sensitive, powerful women and NB folks in this 2 day, 1 night embodied experience.
The Body is the Oracle and we will commune with her and each other with guided body experience trades of lymphatic activation, breast health, Taoist abdominal release, voice and throat activation, jaw and pelvic floor work.

We will tend to the physical body as well as the subtle bodies of the mental, emotional, spirit, and energetic planes. Body work, dream journey, grief and rage ritual, nature, sound bath, nourishing touch, and sisterhood will be our medicines.
These hands-on approaches have been shown to process stuck emotion and energy held in the body, composting these energies into new fertile ground.
Anna's background in Eastern and Western Massage techniques and Mystical Traditions are the foundation for this retreat.

We will be assisted by several experts in the field who will bring us ceremony, ritual, nature medicinals, grounding food, and sisterhood. Assistants and Experts bios coming soon!

Anna Day
For Anna, the body is the oracle. She deeply listens to the physical and subtle bodies and has developed a language to interpret what they are saying. She relies on her relationship to spirit helpers in her work. Anna's path is one of sacred relationship to self, others, and spirit. She believes in cultivating the body as a temple to house the spirit in real terms of wellness both personal and relational.

Mariah MacMathuna
Rooted in a deep relationship and reverence with nature, Mariah will be offering her stone medicine from her studies of ancient lineages. Working closely with the teachings of Andean Mysticism, she uses altar craft and the forgotten relationships of our stone ancestors to bridge more depth and connection to the natural world and all of its innate intelligence. Mariah has spent many years in devotion to plant medicines and their teachings and forms. She is a firm believer that we are our own healers.

Nicole Hathaway
Nicole is a transformational and spiritual guide whose work is shaped by a lifelong devotion to personal growth, embodied healing, and the study of consciousness. Drawing from a foundation in communication science and psychology, along with training in coaching, Reiki, sound healing, breathwork, and intuitive practices, she offers deeply compassionate, personalized experiences that support insight, integration, and authentic transformation.

Sammie Joy
Sammie is a mamma, bodyworker, doula, Reiki practitioner, plan ceremonialist, yogi, and intuitive healing goddess. She will be offering her intuitive bodywork by leading the lymphatic and breast health portion of the bodywork trades. The lymph and breast systems in the body are keys to health physically and energetically.

Eli Martin
Eli is an intuitive, bodyworker, singer and channel. She is a professional vocal artist with years of beautiful work. At Compost, Eli will be leading the throat clearing body work and the voice activation. She deeply understands the empowerment that comes from clearing and activating the voice.
